Please read my first reply above.

You can't expect Apple to answer questions about Sky. If Sky can't answer questions about their own service, you have to wonder whether you really want to continue to give them money each month.

Hi sky don’t know nothing about it and Apple don’t no nothing either 🤷‍♂️

I wouldn't expect Apple to know what that is. They don't own, nor have anything to do with Sky. And for your information, this is a user to user only forum. We don't have anything to do with Sky either. If you're concerned about what this is, elevate it higher up with Sky.

OK, the confusion here is that just about all TLAs (Three Letter Acronyms) have multiple meanings. RAT in the screen shot you posted means Radio Access Technology. You can tell that from the context, in a radio field strength display.

RAT also can mean Remote Access Trojan. But no Remote Access Trojans call themselves RATs; its what outsiders call them.

And it can also mean Remote Administration Tool. Apple’s Remote Administration Tool is called Mobile Device Manager (MDM).

Here is a fairly comprehensive list of all of the meanings of RAT→https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/RAT

If the Federal Government or a State Government was tapping your phone, pursuant to a search warrant, I doubt that the method they used would leave any evidence on your phone to show that it was happening.

That’s a very astute observation. In general, spyware of any kind remains hidden; if you see unusual symptoms that is almost a guarantee that your problem is not caused by malware, because the “real thing” will be invisible to you. Even the infamous Pegasus spyware from NSO Group doesn’t call itself “Pegasus” on the devices it infects. While it can be detected by a cybersecurity expert, it isn’t done by looking for “Pegasus”.
