Personally I have never run DU as some type of preventative curiosity measure— and have suffered no issue.

Is there some associated issue?

old issue, new issue, what changed?

why are you running the DiskUtility in the first place...?

Did you try in Recovery Mode as noted?

Did you get the same error messages while in Recovery Mode?

Just to add, why are you trying to run First Aid in the first place?
