Shortcuts automation "when arrive" triggers from too far away

I have created an automation that turns on the light in the living room for 1 minute when I arrive home. However, I'm encountering an issue where shortcuts mistakenly identifies me as arriving home when I am still more than 100 meters away. Is there a way to decrease the location radius to improve the accuracy of the automation trigger?

Homekit no longer recognizing geofencing since 17.02 Ever since the upgrade Homekit is not recognizing geofencing. I have it set up so that when we get home when it’s dark the hall lights go on. No more! I thought that an automation might fix that but it makes it worse. It goes on all the time and not just when dark. Plus when you ask Siri to turn the lights off any other light that was on also goes off. What am I missing that needs to be done. This geofencing is great as we’re senior citizens and it’s best to have lights on as we walk in to avoid falls.

homekit geofence The geofence radius in the homekit app is too small for when you use the “Home” location. If you change to the physical address of the home then it removes the ability to say “when the last person leaves”. Is there a fix for this? The radius for “Home” needs to be able to be expanded. Especially when using to control a thermostat and you want to either start cooling or warming the house when you’re a number of miles away, *not* when your 330 ft away. This needs to be addressed and I am surprised it has not been up to this point.

• Tap your automation to edit it.

• Tap "When I arrive at..."

• Tap the place specified for Location.

• A map should appear with an adjustable circle which specifies the radius of the trigger.

...However, when I try to drag the dot on the circle, the map disappears!
