Functional Keys question on an M1 Macbook Pro

Hey,

I have been using this M1 Macbook Pro since 2021, and this thing has been a beast and is going great! About 6-7 months ago, I started noticing that my F6 key (the half-moon, aka Do Not Disturb mode) stopped working. Instead of giving me Do Not Disturb mode, which I utilize a lot because I need to focus on my studies, it shoots me up to the link bar on Safari/Chrome/Firefox. Any idea(s) on how to troubleshoot this?

Please let me know!

You might want to check Keyboard {Preferences/Settings}. There's a setting there as to whether you want to use function keys to control system features, or to use them as standard function keys. Perhaps it changed, and you just need to change it back.

I checked, yes. The thing is other keys are functioning normally; the F1, F2; etc are doing their own jobs without having to push additional keys. The only key that isn't functioning is the F6 :(
