Hello Fyredup71,

The recent Rapid Security Response update was to address a vulnerability in Safari - "Processing web content may lead to arbitrary code execution. Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been actively exploited."

About the security content of Rapid Security Responses for iOS 16.5.1 and iPadOS 16.5.1 - Apple Support

Have you looked at your battery settings to address bad battery life?

  2. https://www.apple.com/batteries/maximizing-performance/

The above two articles will help you understand batteries and how the maximize their lifespan.

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap on Batteries

Look at the graphs over the Last 24 Hours and Last 10 Days. See what is contributing the most to your battery. If an app is using more than expected, consider deleting the app, preventing background refresh, lowering graph settings, using the app less.

If you believe your battery is being drained faster than normal, it might be worth contacting official Apple Support and maybe even possibly getting a replacement battery.
