I can print pdfs of the same document but when I try to print from Word it says I don't have permission. I have gone into settings to ensure I have read and write permission on the document. On MacBook Ventura 13.4.1. Brother printer MFC-2710DW
When the print box comes up it asks for a password but there is no pw on the document. I tried adding a pw but that didn't work. I tried putting in the pw to my laptop but that didn't work either.

Is this a document you created or got from somewhere else? If the latter, it may have been password-protected to prevent modifying it or even printing it in the document form. As such, you would need to contact the original author to gain permission to be able to print it.
Ok, thanks. Did you create this Word document with this Mac that you are trying to print it from? Can you print any other Word documents successfully to this printer? Can you print any documents to this printer?
