I was going to start downloading music from Amazon with my Amazon Prime account using my mac. Am i able to do that with a mac like i did on my HP years ago? Can i put the MP3s on my USB pin drive? I’d rather stick with my Amazon account because i downloaded music from there before and i still have it on my pin drives and Mac, ipad and iphone. Will i still be able to do that with my mac?

Well, I answered the question for myself. I purchased & downloaded a song from Amazon Music then added it to my Music library.
Yep. I downloaded the mp3 from Amazon Music which saved to my Desktop which is where I save all downloads. Then I just dragged the mp3 into the Music app.

Thanks.. I just talked to an Amazon associate on thier chat. They have a special music app of thier own to download music on. i wanted to the downloaded music to be on this app.
I told her i could do it. Because i did it before 8 years ago on an HP. I downloaded the music from Amazon on Amazon app, and i found the physical MP3 music files. and i put those files into a USB pin drive. then i deleted those files from the computer the i put the files from the pin drive on to the Apple app ( on the HP, it was itunes) then i was able to put it on my ipad and iphone with the rest of my music library. Not on separate apps. I am hoping i will still be able to do this on my Mac.
Im downloading music because my CD ripper has problems ejecting before it finishes ripping. I cant even trust CD rippers to go right. 🤷 I just pray downloading MP3 albums work. I cant use itunes music because the volume level is lower than the rest of my CDs, it’s a different sound quality than the rest of my CDs. It seems to stand out from the rest of my music library… i don’t like that the downloads needs to blend in with the rest.
Several time but i don’t think she understood… she kept saying THEY can download music onto pen drives…🫤😖 i said “NO NO NO you wont have to” I told i would find the physical MP3 file myself and put it on the pen drive.. and transfer it back to the Apple music app on my mac where i can download it it onto my iphone and/or Ipad.. and she “We can only download onto Amazon Music app and can not be joined woth your Apple library that’s a separate app”.. 😣😖
She could not understand what i was saying and FINALLY…😮😮 She got it!…. i think… 🤷🤷

Your Apple music library on the Apple Music app? Sorry bout all this. It’s been 8 years since i did this and it was on an HP on Itunes app. I just wanted to make sure nothings changed… and it’ll be just as easy on a Mac… that’s all. Thank you so much! 😆✌🏻
Did you ask the Amazon rep if you could save and transfer the songs from Amazon Music?
