I have the airpods pro 1st gen and im planning to buy an apple original magsafe charger. Currently i have a regular wireless charger which im always charging my airpods on it and rarely my phone. My airpods dont have magsafe. Then will they charge at the same rate as the regular or worse?

I am pretty sure it will charge it without any issues. Airpods Pro was capable of wireless charging through Qi-compatible chargers. The second-gen of pro has MagSafe with it, which is used to help your AirPods stick to your MagDafe chargers or power banks. First gen Airpods Pro will charge using the Power Bank, but it might slide around because the magnets are not holding it in place. Basically, it will function as just another wireless charger and will cap out at 15W because it's the standard for wireless chargers. It should work just as good as your current wireless charger.

We have no information about using a non-magsafe charging case on a MagSafe charging pad. To be certain you will have to find out the hard way by testing for yourself, but I suspect the non-Magsafe case will not be recognised and will not charge at all.
