Pages is a rich text word processing application, not a web page editor. Use the free BBEdit, Microsoft's Visual Studio Code, or the paid Sublime Text, or Nova editors. Any of these are code intelligent about HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, and other syntax necessary for sound web coding.
