I'm trying to migration from 2019 Macbook pro(Intel) to 2021 Macbook Pro(M1 Max).

Macbook Pro 2021 is brand new.

Both machines are on macOS Ventura 13.1

Migration starts and as soon as it starts to copy files, it stops. I'm getting the following on the two macs.

Source mac :

Destination mac:

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

Try a different backup and compare your results...

A cable connection is the preferred.

The most trouble free way to move to a new machine, is using the Setup Assistant on the initial boot of a brand new machine— you have one shot here. Set up your MacBook Pro - Apple Support

The second best way is use the Migration Assistant.
