Smart enough to stop Butt Dialing?
According to a number of articles including CNET, butt-dialing happens to everyone. Why? My phone is smart enough to recognize my face, knows it's got my attention and still continually asks, "Are you sure?". Not so with my butt - without questing it, my phone lets my butt dial my mother at 2am after I've been playing tequilla quarters for a couple of hours. The worst part is I have no control unless I remember to lock my phone in my less than sober state after using my phone to confirm I stayed at the bar until closing. It happens all the time when I'm sober too, confirm some bit of information on my phone, slide it back in my pocket and unbeknowst to me, someone is suddenly listening in on my conversation. This seems just as dangerous as many other action that require confirmation and a total invasion of my privacy.
Please give users the option to require a double-power-button-click or fingerprint or face recognition, attention or just voice confirmation that we really want to make the call. Quit sacraficing our privacy with butt dials, phones should be smarter than that.
