Trouble with right airpod

My boyfriends right airpod isn’t connecting and we’ve followed everything the apple site has said I’d like to know why

Without inspecting the devices and test instruments it is impossible to know why one AirPod doesn't work. All we can suggest is try to fix the problem by following Apple's advice in If your left or right AirPod isn't working - Apple Support

If that does't help your next step would be the last item of advice in the support document, to contact Apple Support and arrange to get the AirPods inspected and serviced by Apple
