Hello! I was just wondering if iPhones have a mode where you can only use apps like iMessage, Phone, maps, photos and camera? to save battery you know? Just let me know all right!

There are a couple of ways you can restrict what Apps are used, but that would not be in an effort to save battery. To restrict Apps you could use Screen Time or simply delete them or remove them from your Home Screen where they would reside in your App Library. The Apps would only use battery power if they are being used, unless you allow them to refresh themselves in the background, which can be checked at Settings > General > Background App Refresh.
To summarize, if you do not use the apps and they are not allowed to refresh in the background, they will not be using Battery power. You can use Screen Time or manage your Home Screen to show only the apps want to use.
