When I first plugged in the USB for the wireless Logitech mouse, I was prompted to do several steps before my mouse is recognized as the keyboard wasn't recognized.
Interestingly, before this current update, it worked well, macOS Monterey version 12.6.7
Got any suggestions?

You're correct...I ditched the old mice and opted for new!! It works. I guess it was too old...I did have the two mouses for at least 8 years! hehehehaha .(*_*). Thx

The Keyboard Setup Assistant on this Mac is not working.

The Keyboard Setup Assistant has nothing to do with mice. Maybe you could clarify what it is that is not working.
