pages preference files

I have a check spelling window open in Pages v13.1, and this is what I see for its text:

That is normal text size for this interface and whacking your Pages preferences file will not change this font size, or provide any means to change it. You might experiment with the System Preferences Displays panel to see if any of the text size adjustments located there can make a difference in this spelling interface presentation.
