Want to delete the preference file for Pages. Went to the User preference file folder (option go Library) and cannot find any preference file for Pages.

What are you trying to accomplish by doing that?
Reset Pages to its original state, with no user preferences. The check spelling window opens with tiny almost unreadable font size. Deleting preference file in the past was a way to reset things to original settings.
I have a check spelling window open in Pages v13.1, and this is what I see for its text:
That is normal text size for this interface and whacking your Pages preferences file will not change this font size, or provide any means to change it. You might experiment with the System Preferences Displays panel to see if any of the text size adjustments located there can make a difference in this spelling interface presentation.
