Accidentally Marked an iMessage as "Junk"

Saw this question in here and I am not able to reply to it.

How to undo marking a message as "junk":

tap 'edit' on top left of message app
tap 'show recently deleted'
tap the thread you want to recover and tap 'recover all'
re-add the contact to your contacts list (in my experience, it deleted the contact when I marked it as junk)

IOS 17.5.1 iMessage Notification Banner Issue There is an iMessage issue after updating to IOS 17.5.1. The issue is before I’ve always had message previews off where it would show the person’s name and then underneath, it would show iMessage notification. Now all of a sudden, it just shows the letter of the contact for example D in the circle and then iMessage underneath, no sender name whatsoever anymore like for example Donald then underneath show iMessage. It is very inconvenient when you have more than one person in your contacts with the same first letter in their name. I want to be able to see who contacted me. This happened after the update and I don’t see any setting to get that back. This change needs to be reverted back to its original state. If you have previews off, it shows the name. Now after the update, if you have previews off, it just shows a letter. Please spread this topic around, let’s get as much people as possible to get Apple’s attention, because apparently as of right now, an Apple agent told me that there is no function to get that feature back. I know a lot of you out there would prefer having a name rather than just a letter am I right lol!

iMessage notifications showing up titled message instead of contact name My messages are suddenly showing up in notifications titled message and body says notification. Before it would have the contact name. How do I change it back to that. I made no notification or message changes it just suddenly started doing it. I want to be able to see who messaged without having to unlock the phone.

Note: Reporting junk or spam doesn’t prevent the sender from sending messages, but you can block the number to stop receiving them.
