Black screen after washing hands

I was rinsing my hands of “shout it out” and water in the sink and within a few minutes my watch screen went black. I have recharged it and I do hear vibrations and rings when calls and messages come in. Just can’t get any thing on my screen but a very dim grey light, mostly black.

Oh no. Did you get the watch wet at all? And did you get any of the chemical from "shout it out" near the watch? If so, you could have damaged the screen.
