I am using AirPods Pro 2 and it came with a case speaker. I bought it because I lost the last one(airpods 2 gen), however sadly, I couldn't find a way to make the case sound.
Like, if I lost it somewhere, like under the couch, can I not play the case sound to find it quickly?
If your AirPods are correctly paired and setup with your iPhone, including they appear in your Find My app, you should be able to play sound from the case.

Hey, I don’t know why it’s happening. But it always showed this(see picture).
Even though my airpods came like this out of box, it says Mismatch and it says not properly setup.
i tried all the things, everything is already turned on, my other devices show seamlessly but not airpods. I went to apple store for its apple care and asked about this problem; they said it’s a glitch.
idk, what to do. Yesterday, i turned off and on Find my and it began magically showing location and today after checking your reply, it again shows the same problem.

For me at least, the AirPods were regifted from someone else. That person needed to remove them from their FindMy account.
