Smart Keyboard keys mixed up

The final row of keys on my iPad hardware keyboard (z-m) are mixed up. For example, if I type c it shows “c3” or if I type m it puts “m7”. “Z” adjusts my ringer.

I’ve reviewed other posts and confirmed it’s set to English “not automatic” and removed other keyboards not needed. I’ve also removed the keyboard from Bluetooth and reconnected. And restarted the iPad and keyboard.

this started happening after I turned off and charged the keyboard and reconnected.
