Help! I’ve forgotten my password for my MacBook Air. The help available from Applesays to enter any password three times to open a screen with a password reset option. I’d tried this repeatedly but always instead get the standard start screen Has anyone discovered how to open that password reset screen?

iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.15

If the earlier tip doesn't help, I recommend contacting Apple Support.
