Stuck Apple TV

My Apple TV refuses to connect to my phone. I lost my remote and had been using my phone for months, but one day while away my wifi had went off I payed it the next day and now Apple TV says it can’t connect to my phone anymore it says they aren’t on the same network and I can’t even try to fix my tvs network bc it won’t pair to my phone. So do I just need to buy a new Apple TV?

Does your wifi have two bands (2.4 GHZ and 5GHZ)... most wifi providers do. If so, maybe try connecting your iPhone to the other band and see if you can connect then.

Devices have to be on the exact same network and band for them to be able to work together.
