Apple Maps Reports

Hello! I wanna ask whether the reports on Apple Maps will get reviewed or not? And even if they get reviewed, will I receive an notification and will the reports I made be implemented in the Maps? For example, wrong address or wrong hours…?

That is not a question we, your fellow end users, can answer on Apple's behalf, and Apple will not see your concern here.

My experience was similar to that of H1290 except that it took about two weeks for Maps support get back to me by email. I had reported the mis-location fo a museum where I volunteer. Maps had it over four miles from its actual location, and in a residential neighborhood.

Apple first wanted to know if i had authority to speak for the museum and asked for other evidence. I sent our web page link with physical address information as well as a screenshot from Maps showing our building. However, and I offer this as a tip...

...when I included a screenshot from "another" online mapping service starting with a "G," Apple had our issue resolved in under 30 hours from when they first responded to me. Wink, wink.

Different from reporting in-app, using a Feedback link allows expressing any concerns with how and when Apple makes Maps decisions. It is the only ways to place this before an Apple employee. There are two:

Feedback - Maps for iOS and iPadOS - Apple

Feedback - Maps for OS X - Apple

Hello JustJan05!

They will most likely review the reports, and they will most likely get back to you, too.

For example, about a week ago, I sent in a request for a place to be added to Apple Maps. Today, I received a notification, which took me to the “Reports” section, where I was informed that I was to provide photos or comments, as they didn’t have enough info to add the place to Maps.

Just to share my personal experience. I suggest you give it a week or two, and if you haven’t heard back by then, maybe report the issue again?

I hope this is helpful. Good Luck!
