iPhone turns on in pocket
How do I stop that? It is a real battery drain. And, yes, I have Raise to Wake off.

Turn off Tap To Wake. This is an issue which effects many who carry their phones in their pockets, often with really bad outcomes, such as the phone being jostled to the sign in with your passcode screen and then the passcode being entered incorrectly, to the point the owner is locked out of their iPhone.
For this reason, I NEVER carry my iPhone in my pocket. But if this where you do carry yours, go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Tap or Swipe to Wake - turn this off.
Once turned off, to wake your iPhone, you will now need to tap the side power button to wake it up.

Hello again ~ What about Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Tap to Wake? Is that off? Give that a try.

You're welcome. For people who carry their phone in their pocket, turning off Tap to Wake is pretty much a must.
Katana, my bad. You were spot on. I will try that. I have never carried my phone in a pants pocket so this is new behavior. I only had a phone since 2015 so my experiences are limited. I will see how this works. Thank you for your kindness in offering the suggestion.
