Email From Panera, and is in Contacts, is going to Junk Mail
Emails from a number of known businesses are being sent to Junk mail. The email address is in Contacts. How do I stop this???!!!

If Junk mail is not working for you as expected—
If junk mail filters aren’t working in Mail on Mac - Apple Support
Change Junk Mail settings in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

I turned Junk off more then 10 years ago and installed a third party Spam filter.
Never had an issue—turn it off in Mail>Settings.
You have the option of installing a third party spam filter. ex.

leroydouglas - Thank you for the comprehensive troubleshooting list of links. I appreciate your time and effort to provide that feedback.
I worked through the list and when I got to the "third party spam filter" I went to my host provider's "cpanel" to check into adding spam filtering. OMG! I discovered the host provider was using SpamAssisin by default. SpamAssisin was flagging the emails as spam. Hence, since I had the "Trust junk mail headers in messages" turned on, that was then sending the emails to junk. (I did not fully understand this feature - now I do.)
Problem is solved.
