Location Notification in Parental Controls

I want to set a notification on my iphone if my child leaves the home at night with her iphone. I don't want my teenager sneaking out. When I try to add the notification in "find my" it says that recurring notifications require the consent of the recipient. As the parent I shouldn't need my child's consent to get a notification. Is there a way to do this through parental controls?
