I am looking for a conditional highlight rule, to highlight a complete row for FRDAY's and SATURDAY's/
I see the last one that would be relevant was back in 2020 is there any new way of doing this?

There is no built-in method for highlighting an entire row. There is a relatively easy way to do it but I don't know if that is the one you already have seen. Here is the multi-color version of it. The instructions are short; hopefully understandable.
Thank you for your effort, not an easy way at all , hopefully they will make it easy in the future.
It would be nice if we could specify a range of cells to which the highlighting should apply. But there is not so we are left with workarounds like the one I posted.
