Changing Sim Card

Hello, my friends phone got water damaged and isn’t turning on. He took out the SIM card and put it into someone else’s phone to try access the information from notes and emails etc. his info isn’t coming up and it is just the other persons. How can he access his info?

The nanoSIM only makes the connection via the mobile network.


To see his “stuff” the iPhone itself needs to be setup to access his account.


This requires completely erasing the phone’s current user and then setting it up as HIS. (not a trivial undertaking)


Your friend MAY be able to see much of what he needs by logging-in to his iCloud via https://icloud.com/
