Background activity draining battery

I use the app Noisli to fall asleep and I noticed a week or two ago that it’s using a lot of my battery during the night. It used to only use about 6% of my battery but now it uses about 30-35%. Before it did this and I looked at the battery it would say 1m on screen but never said background activity, and the bar graph didn’t have usage all night. I’m confused why it’s background activity when it just makes noise and it didn’t do this before. You might say turn off background app refresh, but it’s not even listed under background app refresh. Deleting and reinstalling didn’t do anything. It can’t use location either, so I’m confused about how to fix this. Fully turning off the phone doesn’t reset this either.
