Why is the weather app always wrong?

The apple weather app on my iPhone is wrong more than right. It says today will be bright and sunny all day. My weather apps show that I will get a thunderstorm in a few hours. Looking at the sky and the radar it looks like we are about to have a thunderstorm. I miss Dark Sky.

Why is Apple's Weather app consistently inaccurate for temperature and storm predictions? For just about year now the weather app has been so wrong! Like today it’s -13 outside!!!!! The app says it’s 1 degree out! It’s hardly ever right. The storms lately the app says no snow at all, it will literally be a whiteout outside. it’s aggravating when you run a business and need to know the REAL weather!
