MAGSAFE CHARGER VIBRATION

Should my magsafe charger vibrate when not in use? It feels like an electrical current vibration. thanks!

Then there are only few options still available to you before trying to get it replaced.


They are:

  • Be sure to plug it into another wall outlet. Preferably in another room, to rule out this particular outlet.
  • Try plugging it in at another location away from your home.


If it still vibrates after these checks, then it may still be possible that it is defective ... and, there are options here as well:

  • If you purchased it within the last 14 days, you can get it replaced for free.
  • If it is past that timeframe, an Apple Technician will need to examine it to verify it is due to a manufacturing defect. Should that turn out to be the case, you may find that you can get a replacement at little or no cost to you.
