iPhone protection

I just received a pop up that I have been hacked. I have Norton on my computer and says I can use it for 4 more devices. Is Norton good for a iphone. Between the scams and spam calls it’s getting so I don’t want to answer my phone .

First off, the pop-up, is most likely a scam. Both your iPhone and your Mac (I'm assuming that is what you have) already have built-in protection against intrusions. Using any third-party AV app, not just those from Norton, are not required ... and actually, cause more issues than resolve them.

Regardless, there are at least three things to keep in mind when comes to device security:

  1. Anyways apply any security updates that Apple provides you to those devices.
  2. Do not jailbreak your iPhone.
  3. Be vigilant to online scams.
