Reverting back to iOS 16 after backup of iOS 17 has been made

I have an iPhone 14 Pro currently running iOS 17 Public Beta. Earlier, I attempted to revert back to iOS 16 via the official page on Apple's website. Unfortunately, my phone has automatically created a backup of my device running iOS 17, so I am unable to revert back to the backup made before updating to the beta software. How may I revert back given these circumstances?

You can't use that backup. Restore from an earlier one, or set it up as a new unit and wait until the official release.
