How do I opt out of Rapid Security Responses install?

You do it the opposite way of turning it on. This is copied from the relevant article that you were reading when you posted your question to the community.


  • iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Automatic Updates, then make sure that "Security Responses & System Files" is turned on. Or in your case, turn it OFF.

It is not a good idea to opt out. The security fixes in these updates protect your devices.
