Using Recovery Mode with an eSIM

Hello everyone,

I am considering upgrading to an iPhone 14 pro. There may be a time where I might need to use recovery mode to reset my iPhone, like when trying to downgrade from a beta release to a stable one. I was wondering, would the eSIM get deleted? I really would not want to go through the process of setting up an eSIM, when all I'm trying to do is downgrade the device.
