Locked out of my iPad and no wifi

I bought a iPad not from a store but it ligit they sold it to me unlock an everything well this being MY first IANYTHING I went into it a bit fast and not very observant in what I was doing thinking I'm a know it all with electronics as I have owned dozens of tablets well as I got it set up flying through it I had to put it down an when I got back to it later on I had to enter a password or actually I think I did finger print first then had to enter password even though the finger print worked. Well that's no big deal because I'm typical person and I only use a select few passwords/numeric number codes/screen lock patterns/or ANYTHINGS!! Well what would you know being a long time tablet user if it's 4digits easy it's always 8*4* or 2#2# but a 6digit code now you threw me a curveball I'm sure it was sumthing easy but thinking I know everything since I'm a "PRO" I get dead set on entering the norm passwords not reading more than likely what it was asking me to enter I pretty much being ******, frustrated, an confused (since I know everything) kept 15 min at a time then 30..45..60..3hrs..8hrs..16hrs...24hrs(making the times up as we both know there not spot on)entering the same **** codes I know an not working until.. yep lock out. PERIOD! GOOD JOB ME!! anyways try to shortn this up.. textd customer service told me ummmm 6 digit code not apple ID code duh, btw did not say duh to me and actually tried to help me the best they could.. BEST CUSTOMERS SUPPORT IVE EVER EVER HAD!! That's no bs either an no people I didn't get paid to say that buuuut I wouldn't mind if I did... anyways they set up an appointment to get it unlocked said tho it might cost me, I stood up the appointment because it might cost me an I didn't have the money an wanted to save myself the embarrassment of telling that at best buy.. need less to say thanks for the tight security but **** you also (pardon my french) I have no way of resetting it because I believe I put it or it got put on airplane mode if there is one bottom line I can't turn on wifi its locked out I tried to factory whip it with the button... <nope> just sits an thinks... please tell me what to do that I don't have to save money for it to be unlocked.... I just wanted to try the iPad experience once being a Samsung, Lenovo, Microsoft, Amazon, RCA, an even a Onn tablet owner just to compare see what all the buzz was about.. yes I mentioned this is my first ipad(unlocked) I stupidly bought(off the street) 2 others seperate times before this that were locked to someones account an was scammed for them and got my daughter an ipod (not scammed an worked) I just want to try it!!!! PLEASE S.O.S HELP
