Pages - tables - won't page break when a column is full instead hides content

in Pages I'm adding photos in a column, in a table. When the column is full it doesn't page break automatically, instead the photos stay "hidden" below the bottom one of the visible ones. Support can't help me so hoping for help here.

Unlike MS Word or LibreOffice Writer, Pages only breaks table rows on the row boundary. If your images are one to a row within a column, then it should break the row onto the next page if on the Arrange panel, Object Placement is Move with Text, and Text Wrap is its default Inline with Text. Any other Text Wrap setting and the table does not flow across the page boundary.
