Getting my Apple Misuc data back after my Apple One subscription ends

My Apple one subscription is due to expire on August 15. I want to keep my Apple Music but cancel the rest. There is no option to do that. The only way is to wait until it expires, and then all everything I saved on Apple Music will disappear. However, it will be saved in the Cloud because I have that setting selected. The Apple technician I talked to today said that I could get it back from the Cloud by calling an Apple tech. Is that true? An earlier answer to this question claimed that the data with disappear and there was no way to get it back. Which answer is accurate ?

My understanding is there is a short grace period between subscriptions. So if you unsubscribe from Apple One then immediately subscribe to Apple Music your Library is retained. (Apple recommends unsubscribing a day before the sub is set to renew.)
