locate music in iTunes error

New computer, copied all of my music from an external drive, albums show up in itunes but when I attempt to play an album they was originally imported from a CD it gives me the following error:


The song “Something” could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?

If it is only for songs you imported from a CD (and you are sure you copied those songs), then see:

Change where iTunes files are stored on PC - Apple Support


Otherwise open Tunes and choose Edit > Preferences, then click Advanced. In the "iTunes Media folder location" dialog box select the iTunes Media folder location, where songs and other files you import into iTunes are located. For m are info, see:
