Phone shut down

To clarify, your iPhone turned completely off? Or do it do something else, such as go to the Apple logo or, or a spinning wheel?

Also, Are you able to use your iPhone currently or are you unable to get to or past the Lock Screen? If so, we'd advise looking over the tips here: If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support

Bear in mind, if you need to reinstall iOS via a computer, it is important to select Update when prompted on your computer. Restore will erase the data on the device, while update will attempt to resintall iOS keeping the data intact. Those steps are outlined under "If your iPhone turns on but gets stuck during start up".
