Took off Bluetooth and sound now comes from phone
seems like the Alexa was “ robbing” the sound output from the phone
Phew… ! Working , now that I know!!

I’ve checked the left side top mute button and taken calls and rings
multople sources do not give sound .. Music/ bbc Sounds/ You Tube
Tried again.. sound generated by Alexa Dot close by!!!
