I have a iPad mini 6th generation, I can’t connect to my Mac because Of the usb-c plug, is there a connector for this?

Is there an adapter I can use to be able to backup my new iPad (c plugs on both ends of the cord , no usb on one end to plug in the back of iMac?

If you have an older model computer that only has USB Type-A ports, you simply require an appropriate cable to connect your iPad and computer.

If your iPad has a USB-C port, as described, you will require a certified USB3 Type-A to USB-C cable. These are available from good computer stores - and from Apple:

  • mophie USB-A Cable with USB-C Connector (1 m)

If instead your iPad has a Lightning connector, a standard USB Type-A to Lightning cable is available.

  • Lightning to USB Cable (1m)
