The profile „Baseband and telephony logging“ is installed if you have an iOS or iPadOS beta software installed and turned on „Enhanced beta analytics“. The profile enables Apple to log the baseband frequency and other details of the cellular connection and to log the telephony data. If you do not want this, do not remove this profile manually. Instead, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics and turn off „Enhanced Beta Analytics“.

Have you Jailbroken your device? If yes, your data is now accessible to many hackers.

To my knowledge there is no direct settings or access for users either for Baseband or Telephony logging by default in an iPhone.

Baseband and telephony logging are two distinct concepts related to communication systems, particularly in the context of telecommunications and networking.

  1. Baseband refers to a type of signal transmission where the original digital or analog data is directly transmitted over a communication channel without modulating it onto a carrier frequency. In baseband communication, the frequency range used to transmit the signal is centered around zero Hertz (DC component) and extends up to a certain bandwidth. This means that the baseband signal utilizes the full available bandwidth of the channel.
  2. Telephony logging is the process of capturing and recording telephony-related information, such as voice calls and call-related data, for various purposes like monitoring, analysis, and compliance. This can include traditional landline phone systems as well as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems.
    1. Telephony logging is often used in call centers, customer support services, emergency services, and legal or regulatory compliance scenarios. It helps organizations keep records of their communication activities, analyze call patterns, and ensure quality control. In some cases, it may also be used for security and investigatory purposes.
