Could a bad battery cause connection issues?

So about a month ago I get a notification that my battery capacity was 76% and my battery has degraded rapidly. About 2 weeks ago my phone started randomly lagging, then it was shut off and restart on its own. So today it did that same this while on FaceTime and once it turned back on it would not connect with cellular data, Wi-Fi,or even Bluetooth. It keeps saying error with cellular and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. I have restarted it a few times and even tried to reset the network settings twice. Nothing has worked. Could this be because of my declining battery. Also my phone is the iPhone 12 Pro Max and is 3 and 1/2 years old and I have never replaced the battery.
