iPad cannot be restored

The logo appears on the screen. I restarted the iPad and got the restore screen. I followed instructions to plug it into my computer and restart. The iPad could not be updated or restored. “Unknown error occurred”.

What is the next step?

Thanks. I’ve seen that article and did all of that and I got a pop up box that said iPad can’t be restored or updated. 👆🏼. Does anyone know the next step?
