Incorrect battery percentage on Wireless Beats 3

My beats say on the battery widget and when they connect that they are always 100% charged. This never used to be an issue and used to display the right percentage but has been like this for a few months. Does anybody know how I can fix it, as I never know when the battery is going to die which is quite frustrating when it turns off during a workout.
