Stop auto fill when typing

When I’m typing on my ipad, it will autofill with words that I don’t want. How can I stop this from happening?

iPad Pro, iPadOS 16

Settings > General > Keyboard > Predictive = “off”.

Ipad inserting letters This is not so much a question as an answer. My Ipad does it all the time, but it is my fault. if, when writing avword ( see it’s just done it), if I hit the space bar too close to the word I am typing, it will always do it. The only solution would be for Apple to have a wider separation between space bar and letters.

Autofill not working on ipad pro. I have tried everything to get my autofill to work. I have followed all of the settings and nothing seems to work. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am running ios 13.2 on ipad pro.
