Changed countries but don’t speak the language. All the movies are in a different language now

My family and I moved to Sweden but we don’t speak the new language yet. We have purchased about 20+ animation movies for our 6yo who also doesn’t speak the new language. The only option we have in these movies now as a spoken language is Swedish and English. Isn’t there an option to have all kinds of languages like you do on Disney+ Netflix etc? I mean, it’s a purchased movie after all 😅 why give the limitation of just one language?

When you change the country for the Apple ID account, then your access to the iTunes Store will also change to the versions and catalog for that new country.

Users are advised to download movies in the old country, before the change, to retain access to purchased content as they were used to. Redownload TV shows and movies that you purchased - Apple Support

The way the movies from the iTunes Store currently work, is that –

  • Content (the catalog) is regional. Partially different content will be available in the new country.
  • Overlapping content from the former and the new region may or may not be available on the same purchase.
  • Available audio languages and subtitle languages will differ by region and title. The available options are determined by (the regional representation of) the supplying studios. Try asking the studios for more language support. Apple as a reseller doesn’t mandate specific languages.

… now Swedish and English.
