So my bank card was set up in Apple Pay, then is stopped working. Went to bank since it said contact issuer, they tried everything so I got a new card, which is a pain to redo everything, new card does the exact same thing.

So I did all the via my bank. Know how to add the card. It is not on my end and the bank did everything they could contacting everyone who might be able to help. Even a brand new card will no work. Card was working a week ago and just stopped.

What device are you using and what iOS is it on? When you say went to the bank, do you mean your local branch or did you call their support team?
I read your post, in both communities. At what point in adding your card did you experience the message to contact your bank? Were you to the stage where your bank has to verify your card/account?
I am on an iPhone 11, I went into my bank and sat there for an hour. They could not solve the problem. I’ve updated to the current iOS. Since I’ve seen others with this issue I’m guessing it’s at Apples end
I was told by my bank with this same problem that as of yesterday, Apple pay has an outage for some of the banks' cards
