iPhone X screen randomly darkening.

After the last security patch came out, now my screen is turning the brightness down on its own. It’s not because of heat or cold. It’s automatically doing it.

Perhaps you turned on Auto Brightness. See this for the ways that brightness can be adjusted.

Screen of new iphone stays dark I just bought a new iphone 12 mini. I noticed my screen was dark so I tried to adjust it with the adjusting panel but halfway past it it doesn’t adjust it anymore. It stays dark and can only go darker. When I turned the phone on and off it seemed to be fixed but 1 minute later it abruptly went dark again.
