Pfff, mine started peeling really quickly. Apple support told me tough, it’s wear and tear…for the price of these keyboards, this level of shoddy material is shocking. You do NOT expect an apple product to PEEL and flap, it’s a shockingly poor design, and to be told tough there is nothing we are to do is shocking!

I read this thread and many others and reached out to support. I had purchased the Magic Keyboard for 12.9 IPad Pro along with the IPad in 2021 (3 years ago) and was out of warranty. They inspected my keyboard and while its peeling has started and being out of warranty they said this is normal wear and tear and neither had the option to refurbish it, but were wanting to sell me a new one.

After 346 Euros don’t expect a device to become unhinged in just 3 years.
